Acupuncture, Herbs, &/or Chinese-style Asian Bodywork Therapy
Acupuncture and herbal treatment: Chinese medicine’s best-known modality is acupuncture. From trigger point (“dry needling”) therapy to specialized auricular (ear) treatments and everything in between, there is something that acupuncture can do for you. Herbal treatment, either topical or in the form of tinctures, pills, foot soaks or teas, can also benefit you and your health.
Tui na: If you want all the benefits of acupuncture with none of the needles, try tui na! Chinese style bodywork is the foundation of traditional Chinese medicine and constitutes a separate medical specialty in China. With massage-like techniques, tui na balances the energetic system in order to nourish and support body, emotions, mind, and spirit.
As appropriate, a bodywork treatment can also include cupping, gua sha, and/or ear seeds or you can choose to experience these as stand-alone treatments.
Do you have an idea (or no idea) of what your personal version of optimal health looks and feels like? What are the obstacles between you and your vision of vibrant and abundant wellness? Health coaching services are designed for exploration and discovery, to promote long-term health gains, and to foster life-long change. Depending on your needs, this option might include directed reading, referral to a personal trainer, or nutritional education and support. We might also include guided meditation and/or reiki. Everyone is different and your program will be designed with your unique needs and sensibilities in mind.
